You REAP What You SOW

You REAP What You SOW

Have you ever noticed that most people
spend their lives trying to achieve.

I believe the Preacher in Ecclesiastes says it well. ALL is vanity and vexation of spirit. In todays language it would mean that it is crazy to spend ones life striving to conquer the world when in the end you lose it all. Why would you not spend more time sowing.

What would it profit To Gain The World and Lose Your Soul. The Lord said, :godliness with contentment is great gain" In other words be content with what the Lord has giving you.

Today people are wanting to prosper yet they are unwilling to do the things that yields a prosperous life. For example you see a friend in need yet you do nothing to help them. Yet you expect God to bless you. I can tell you now it is not going to happen.

You REAP what You SOW.

IF you are unwilling to sow in someone else's life WHY would you expect to reap in your own. IF you are unwilling to help out a friend WHY would you expect anyone to help you. WHATEVER you do unto the least of these my brethren you have done it unto me. Those are the words that Jesus spoke. They still stand true today.

There cannot be a harvest IF there are No seeds sown. It just cannot happen. How great would the world be if people where more concentrated on seeing the success of others more than their own success.

Or just giving more. Whether it is Time, Money, or Self. There are many ways to sow seeds into another life. Cease the moments. They may only pass your way once. How sad it would be to know that you could of lived bountifully if you would of just sown more.

Jesus said a new commandment I give unto you that you love your brother even as I have loved you. Yet most people cannot even keep this simple commandment. Sadly it is the hardest of all. To love someone else even as you love yourself.

Remember the WWJD bracelets. Did you really ever ask yourself What Would Jesus Do and then follow those Steps or where they just a great thought that never got planted. We are all guilty of not passing every test that has came our way. May we start embracing the seed giving more and reap a harvest that will live on after we are gone. This to me is what it means to Achieve in Life.

May you sow in someone elses life today. And may your harvest be a seed that has no end.
